This artwork is available as an individual metal print measuring 12x12 inches or as part of the 'endless frame magnetic framing system.'
- The Endless Frame system is a unique framing system that incorporates a beautiful wooden frame available in four versatile finishes. This frame acts as the base for the interchangeable metal prints that attach magnetically to it thus creating a seamless finish.
-Metal prints are available with holes for hanging or without holes.
These prints are made in collaboration with one of our artists ‘Lauren Kimball’ and are produced in our united states atelier. All metal prints are produced upon purchase, meaning that they are made just for the individual purchasing them. Thus, produced in a sustainable approach, to eliminate and reduce American over-consumption. Each piece is cared for as it’s own artwork and is taken through solicitous steps to be presented to the consumer.
Each metal print goes through a special heat transfer process that burns the image into the metal creating a unique enamel finish that is artwork that is durable and long-lasting.
The Artist: "I am Sophia Kuvan from San Diego. I like to consider myself a recycling artist that has been exploring abstract illustrations and collage-based visual journaling for the past few months. My work is inspired by moments in my life that conjured feelings and observations worth exploring. Through the exploration of deconstruction/reconstruction, and providing a new perspective I came to realize that layered abstracts and/or collages would best portray these “recycled” stories, allowing me to work through ideas very quickly. In an unexpected way, it developed into my voice, revealing the stories I want to share.
Abstract and collage art allows me to interact with existing materials - anything from newsprint and magazines to books and stamps and old paint and pastels - to reuse them, they resemble them, and layer them, creating visually dynamic hybrids."
